Donna Hunter LCSW

Meet Donna Hunter LCSW, the founder of Global Therapy Inc. Donna graduated from Syracuse University and has been a therapist for over 30 years. She started her private practice in 2001 in Tampa, Florida, and since then, has moved a few times but settled in Northwest Arkansas.

Throughout her career, she has worked in agency outpatient counseling centers in New York, Maine, and Florida and is licensed in AR, FL, ID, and MO as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Donna specializes in working with individuals who are dealing with depression, anxiety, addictions (both substance or behavioral), and individuals who are working through, surviving, and thriving after childhood and adult trauma. She has used tools such as EMDR to help individuals gain freedom from the past. Additionally, she is qualified as a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) and provides evaluations for DOT, substance-impaired employees.

Donna’s philosophy is that you are your own best expert. You know when something is not right and how you would like things to change. Emotionally, you want help getting from where you are now to where you want to be. That’s where she comes in. As a therapist, she can help you navigate from what is not working to what helps you find happiness, peace, and comfort.
